Im going Crazy

November 13 and still no decorations up. Im going down stairs to pull some out my box has to be down there somewhere. :-D :cool:

I started bringing stuff out and putting little things up on the first. There's still a lot more to go, though.

checked the down stairs closet, could'nt bring anything out w/out making a mess (didnt want to do that, holiday season, keep everyone happy). The Wooden Santa figure was accesible so I set him by the front door hopefuly the family will catch the holiday hint. There is a box in the guest room w/ a few things Im going to look, then report any findings.

Here is what i found (none of these are used for major decoration - so, my room since nothing else.)

1. "Once upon a Christmas" village
2. small stocking
3. Santa W/ snowman (broken) snow globe
4. 2 tin cans a) tree w/ animals on bench b) candy canes
5. 3 beanie babies
- santa
- Reigndeer
- frosty

I'm decorated basement to roof

I said yes, but it's only partially true.

I have some swag lights on most of my roof but I have a lots more lights to put up and a tree to buy/decorate. I have some garland inside and a wreath on my door (outside), plus a red and green table cloth.

Like I said though...much more to go.

I've been busy and my husband doesn't want us to seem like the neighborhood crazies, so he wants to wait til this coming weekend to turn the lights on outside. He's come a long way from when we were first together (he was an after Thanksgiving kind of Christmas person before), but he still has a bit further to go. One of these days I'll make him a Nov1 kind of Christmas person. But really...I'd like to get everything up and settled before I turn it all on anyways (or at least most of it out there).

I am so antsy to take my fall decorations down!! I'll start putting my Christmas tree up next week!! :???:

I said yes but really only half of my stuff. My tree, stockings, and outside stuff is not up only b/c we do it on Thanksgiving (family tradtion).

if you decorate after you eat be sure to wash your hands as turkey grease easily smears on ornaments
