Things are going a bit better at the north pole this month. The remodel of the wrapping department is entering the final phases. All of the walls have been closed in and the room is ready for the machines to be installed. The problems with the lack of paint have also been solved with the addition of a couple more suppliers. The workshop has been working hard and they are finally back on schedule after the problems they had earlier in the year. They are hoping to stay that way through the rest of the operation merry Christmas 2011. All of the elves and reindeer are enjoying the warmer temperatures that have finally arrived at the north pole. After a long winter with temperatures in the -40 range they are enjoying highs around 10 degrees. Ms. Claus is hard at work planning the annual 4th of July celebration. Santa is a huge fan of fireworks and the 4th of July is one of his favorite holidays besides Christmas. The reindeer are dong 3 a day workouts but that will get cutback to 2 a day towards the end of the month. The stable staff likes to give them a break before their big around the world test run next month. Santa is hard at work overseeing all of the operations going on at the north pole. He has been doing test runs with the reindeer and has been working very closely with the engineering crew on a new sleigh. He also plans on taking a trip later this month to scout out a few new locations around the world to locate supply depots on Christmas eve. With the population around the world growing Santa has calculated that he will run out of gifts in a few heavily populated areas if some new depots aren't set up. Santa is happy that things have ran smoother at the north pole this last month but he knows that all of that can change at any second.

the reindeer are now going from long distance to doing sprint and weight practise.....and of course the most important thing.....the flying start...a very hard thing to do....by the end of June they will start practising to LAND OF ROOFTOPS.

Santa is checking it once and twice weather or not in May the kids were bad or nice.....and Mrs Claus is practising a new turkey recipe.

The toy production and reindeer training is picking up, but soon there will be a two week summer holiday for the elves.

We saw Santa and Mrs. Claus at Outback last night. My son held the door open for him. His mini-van had a tag that said "SLEIGH''. It was awesome.cheesy

It never fails! Every June, there are at least three Elf weddings that the Claus's must attend... this time around, there are two the same weekend (plus one elfling Graduation picnic)... Mrs. Claus is a dancing machine, but Santa has trouble with The Chicken Dance... his best "move" is the "bowl fulla jelly" shimmy...
