Avatar?

Hi all,

I want to use an Avatar, but I couldn't upload it. Do I need a special number of posts, to use an Avatar or do I somepthing wrong?

It's my understanding that the upload feature is currently disabled due to the load it put on the server and Jeff is working on it when he can. You can still get your custom avatar, though. Host the desired picture at an image hosting site such as photobucket.com. Then copy the url for the hosted image and paste it in the box next to "Link to off-site Avatar".

hey do u need to do any resizing on that?

I'm not sure if there's a set size limit, but there's obviously a line to cross there. Mine's a bit bigger than I'd like, but the text becomes completely illegible if I make it any smaller.

its width can be no greater than 125 pixels, the height no greater than 125 pixels, and the file size no more than 10 KB
