Finding Lost Christmas Items

My family is the master of disorganization, so nearly every year a Christmas decoration is missing. I nearly lost my German ornaments, and was very excited to find them. One year we misplaced our stockings and didn't have them out until Christmas Eve.

Does anyone else ever lose their decorations? Tell your experiences.

I used to be a HUGE Hallmark ornie collector and had collected all the pieces of "Santa's Desk" which was one of their members only special displays back in...2000 maybe? I used it only that year because in 2001 I divorced and moved and it all got stored away. So last year was the first time I had taken it out since then only to find most of the accessories pieces missing. Now these are not just pieces you can go out and buy so I had to get on Ebay and contact other collectors. And if you know anything about Hallmark you know alot of their premiere items increase in cost with age. But I found and bought all the "lost" pieces.

Only to have my mom call me up around March this year to tell me she has found a huge box of ornies in some of my stuff I had stored in their shop and wanted to know if I would come and get it. Yup, you guessed it...all the "missing" accessories were in that box.

Glad you made me think of this...I probably need to get those extra pieces listed back on Ebay and get my money back!!!

Never lose anything but as I open storage tubs I find stuff I bought the previous year ( after xmas sales ) that I forgot I bought. Even a few pieces I have no idea where they came from. Likely gifts.
