Christmas Planning July

Its July.......the perfect time to start planning for Christmas 2011.

So share.....what are YOU doing to get ready for Christmas this month?

I have to find my planner back, put it somewhere safe and forgot where that was!!! If I do not find it soon, I will start another one.
But, on to what I am doing, other than driving my daughter crazy (so she says) Every time I go shopping from now on I am going to pick up something for a Christmas gift. (like gift cards, stocking stuffers and advent calendar items)
I also plan to hit the garage sales for decorating items and so often there are brand new items still in original wrappings that a great for Christmas gifts!)
I want to try my hand at making my own cards this year. I have tons (well maybe not tons, but lots!) of Christmas paper to work with. Is there a group for this?

We are making salt dough ornaments now and will paint them soon enough.. I want Jude to make everyone a personalized ornament (Noel is too little!) and that takes time with a 3 year old! :)

I bought a bunch of presents for the kids already... feeling food!

I have my journal which I have updated with all the new people on my gift list and amended any address changes.

I have already bought a significant amount of gifts and would love to get the wrapping started but I cant remember where I put my gift wrap organiser!

Its scary how quickly the time flies by from now until autumn so I am trying to get as organised as I possibly can - fingers crossed eh
