Be sure to turn on HSN today! All day Christmas in July sales. I don't buy anything but I just love to look at all the Christmas stuff. Anyway, I am in Texas and that's what I am doing. =)
The rest of the days I am watching Christmas movies and listening to Christmas music.

Setting at work going over a list of ideas for gifts for the wife. Since last year we could not afford to get each other anything due to medical issues.

I am working (actually having lunch) I am in New York (right now the city). I have been listening to Christmas Music (but I have to admit I do not stop I listen all year - tee hee) I have been planning my craft project this year, I make something for the ladies I work with I am just not sure very undecided as what to make, I am a beginner so it needs to be easy. I have made a melted snow man and the Christmas Spider, just don't know what to do!!!

I love NY during the holidays!!!! The window displays are soooo magical!!! :sparkle:
One thing I love to do for Sunday School teachers and school teachers is the dry cookie mix ingredients layered in a Mason jar with a pretty cover on the lid with ribbons. They love it and it just looks so cute! I've also seen hot chocolate like that too. Have fun!! Let us know what you decide to do!! :busy::dance:

I am in Nevada, wishing for snow! But all I keep getting is heat
I've been listening to Christmas CD's, and just watched Home Alone the other day. Also trying to think of a fun & unique Christmas picture for my family to take this year.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE the Home Alone movies!!!! :yahoo: We stayed at The Plaza Hotel year before last and they showed us the room they stayed in and several of the spots the movie was filmed at in the hotel. It was so neat seeing all of that! Now you're making me want to watch it again! Home Alone here I come!! Happy happy merry merry!!!:notice:

I start Christmas in March. I have 65,000 lights I put out and since I animate them, I program them to music so it takes a while. I'm still programming and listening to Christmas music.

Today I spent 2 hours sorting ornaments trying to decide which ones I will be using this year. Thinking I may do two big trees this year.

I'M OFF WORK TODAY, FEELING KIND'A LOW. I'M REALLY FEELING THE PRESSURE THIS YEAR & USUALLY I'M ANTICIPATING EVERYTHING ABOUT THE SEASON. COULD BE THE FACT THAT I'VE GOT 3 KIDS (15-19-21) WHO ARE IN EVERY DIRECTION & ACT AS THOUGH THEIR THE ONLY 1 IN NEED OF SOMETHING, & HERE I THOUGHT IT WOULD GET EASIER AS THEY GOT OLDER. NOTHINGS EASIER-THE ISSUES THEY HAVE ARE MUCH MUCH MUCH MORE DIFFICULT NOW!! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH, BUT......:merry:

Wishing you some magic Christmas pixie dust right now! Crank up the Christmas tunes and know you are doing a great job and you will all cherish these memories of your happy busy days together!! Soon enough they will all be off pursuing their dreams with the love, education and roots you have given them and enjoying their wings but in the meantime enjoy getting to ask them in person as they race through the house how they are instead by phone!!! LOL Soon enough your will be able to relax and trust they will make the best choices although you will always be worrying, praying and wondering about them with all that love in your heart that parents hold!
Wishing you magic everyday, Merry Mistletoe!! :^)

Cheer up. I am sure the Christmas bug will hit you if you stay around here for very long. These people's Christmas cheer is infectious.

Thank you MaureenMulligan. I'm sure you've been through all this already or are now. It's nice to get an outsiders (I mean not in the home) point of view. It means alot to have someone take the time to reply to my pity party, lol! I needed that.

I'm dreaming of a White Christmas sitting at work. I can't wait to get the decorations up. I started getting them out over the weekend and am so excited. We decorate our whole basement and live in a winter wonderland. :???:
