Just came back from Checkers. We bought a small eggnog milkshake. Here's my review:

While it was quite yummy, it didn't taste like eggnog to me. It tasted like a french vanilla milkshake.

The McDonald's one I tried tasted like vanilla through and through up until the very last sip.

In the meantime I suggest picking up a bottle (or two) of Evan Williams Original Southern Eggnog. Picked up a bottle of this on Thanksgiving and I was really impressed!!

We have this specialty coffee shop here called timothy's, along the lines of starbucks I guess and had one of their Vanilla Gingerbread Hot Chocolates today.....I'm HOOKED!!!!

This thing was so good. And to top it off, fresh whipped cream and chocolate shavings and cinnamon on top. aaah, how I love this time of year

Has anyone tried the Steak-N-Shake eggnog shake yet? Looks yummy, but not sure if it's worth their prices.

My sis had one last week, cant remember where or what she posted on here but it seems like she liked it.

I had one last weekend and it was pretty good. I was however left with this thought...it wasn't as good as just drinking egg nog, so why did I bother?

I'm hoping to try some of the shakes from other places to determine if they taste better.

I had one on Tuesday and it was really good! They are expensive but I think they are worth every penny.

The Steak-N-Shake one was an improvement over the Checkers eggnog shake. I don't think it was worth the price though. I might put some of the southern comfort eggnog into the freezer and make my own shake.
