Rockefeller Tree - Too much commercialism

Christmas arrives in the stores earlier every year it seems. I can remember being disgusted when it started showing up around Thanksgiving. Now, it's on the store shelves before Halloween. Yes, it has gotten way to commercial. But once I start getting into it I am happy with it all.

I thought the program was hardly festive, I would go as far to say it was dumb. I get the impression they went into the thing with no thought of putting on a good program. When you think about it the networks anymore don't have much Christmas spirit, sure they air plenty of commercials for the season but little else.

I couldn't help but notice all the obvious shameless plugs (they even made a joke out of it). But what really surprised me was that Christina Aguilera sang a song off of her new album rather than a Christmas song. I mean...she's even got a Christmas album, doesn't she? I know she sings bunch of Christmas songs. What the heck was up with that crappy slow song she sang?
