I am beyond upset, shocked and totally tee'd off. My grandfather has gone into rehab for 20 days due to his stroke. More than likely he will be spending Christmas day there so my grandmother decided to take Christmas to him and brought decorations to make his room more cheery. Why she thought to do this I have no idea, but she made a list of everything she took up there. Good thing because she arrived today and realized one of the Santa figurines is missing. She checked her list and sure enough one was gone. My grandfather said he saw one of the workers looking at it and that she had something in her hand when she walked out but I dont think he would be able to say which person it was. I cannot BELIEVE a woman would do something like that to an elderly sick person. My grandmother doesnt want to make an issue out of it but I personally wanted to go out there and pitch the biggest fit you have ever seen.

So lady...whoever you are, I hope you really enjoy that Santa that you stole from my 93 year old grandfather. I pray that you never have to experience the pain and despair that my family has had to endure due to his sickness and the hurt that your act has caused us all due to your own selfishness. May God have mercy on you because one day you will have to account for this.

That is sad and disgusting that someone has the guts to do that! My deepest sympathies and prayers go out to you in this holiday season with your sick family and missing heirloom.

The conduct exhibited by many healthcare workers is absolutely deplorable. My sister used to work for a retirement home, and she has often said she wouldn't wish that on her worst enemy. I'm sorry this had to happen to you, but it's a sad fact in our society.

I hope your grandfather gets better soon. Wish him a Merry Christmas for me.

I'll be praying for your family and for your grandfather to get better so he can get out of that bad situation.

Post a Christmas Card in the room for the whole staff to read. Put in the card that you hope that that they like the Santa and that Christmas is about giving not getting and that God loves sinners too!
