I'm new to this forum and i have to say, it feels good knowing that there are people out there who love christmas as much as me. And start celebrating in november. My family is always telling me its too early. But i don't think so. Christmas is the best time of the year...why not make it last as long as possible and get as much out of it as you can! Thanks for everything guys! :D

Welcome Whitexmas: Actually we celebrate Christmas throughout the year...November is a bit late for most here..haha...This site is ongoing during summer months when most hardly ever think of Christmas. I guess you could call us Christmas nuts. I am glad you are here and hope to hear from you lots. I watch Christmas movies all year...I am very far gone on the subject..

Hey Twinkle,
I am from Florida too. I have been here 3 years and it's quite a challenge to get into Christmas early when it's so warm out. but I know I'm ready to start playing the Christmas music by October. My tree always goes up the weekend after Thanksgiving then I take it down the weekend of New Years. That's the sad part. It's nice to find other people who really enjoy that Christmas feeling and wish we could keep it going longer. People down in Florida really like to deck out I think to compensate for the lack of white stuff. My first Christmas here was hard. I had no tree and when they started playing the Christmas music on the Christian stations really early while it was still 90 degrees outside that was a bit hard to comprehend but I've settled in now and I do have a nice tree.
