I am a veteran, though not of WW1 as my son may say. As today is Veteran's Day, I thought of how many military men and women spend their Christmases away from family and sometimes on the battlefield. Below is a link to a story of Christmas on the front during WW1, 1914 to be exact. Hope you like it. http://www.fylde.demon.co.uk/xmas.htm

Hiya SS - I'd like to thank you for your service. I have a very deep and abiding respect for those who wear the uniform and keep us all safe. The same goes for all other service folks who may read this post. Thanks for giving us your very best!!!
