Calling this a "grave emergency", Santa has started to send thousands of elves away from the North Pole to keep them from getting the dreaded Bah Humbug virus. Elf Dr. Lionel P. Spock has said that he cannot stop the virus from spreading so Santa is taking big steps to keep everyone healthy.
"So much for productivity!" exclaimed Elf Bernard in Santa's Workshop. "We are falling behind rapidly. We are setting up new workshops all over the world. We opened one in Buenos Aires late last week and tomorrow there should be a workshop opening in New Mexico, in the USA."
In spite of the emergency Santa insists that Christmas is in no danger. And while I'll tell you that Santa has never failed to deliver I can also tell you that we have never seen anything like this at the North Pole.
