I agree too. Probably September..seems like it's a little earlier every year which is fine by me. I love Ben Franklin...seems as if the ones we have around here.. they have closed down. Sad to see them go...they are great little stores.

Ben Franklin is a craft store. It's really cool. The have everything imaginable for crafts.
But, back to the first question, I start seeing a bit of Christmas in the mall department stores in July.

Some stores around here still have Christmas items on clearance.
I think around September is when I started seeing things this year.

I've noticed that to with the clearance items but it's all been really picked over so not much of anything I need.

I love Ben Franklin...they have all kinds of crafts, picture frames, cards, utensils, baking/cake decorating supplies, office supplies & all kinds of other stuff too. They always have decorations & candy for almost every holiday. They also offer classes you can take to make different kinds of crafts. A friend & I took a class where we made Christmas bear baskets...this has been years ago, but my bear still comes out every year. He's pretty cute! :)

I think in the UK, its usually in September after the 'back to school' stuff is off the shelves, cant wait!!
I'm thinking about decorating for halloween this year, do any of you decorate, if so what do you do? Maybe we could start a new thread?

I love it when stores sell Christmas stuff year round. One of my favorite places to visit is The Mistletoe Ranch in South Dakota.
