Now this is some snow!

My Aunt and Uncle sent me pictures of all the snow that they got in Northern Idaho. My sister in law who was in Idaho at the time got stranded there and couldn't make it back home to Montana because Lookout Pass was closed due to extreme weather conditions including a couple of avalanches that also took place along the pass. I am suprised we here in Montana never got hit with it.

The first picture is of a shed in their back yard.
The second picture is their snow covered RV.
The third picture is of my uncle searching for a shovel so he can get unstuck.

I guess overall they got about 4 1/2 ft.

Wow! That is a lot of snow. I know it must be awful to be in all that stuff right now, but it sure is pretty.

Having a snowstorm once or twice a year can be fun but 4 and a half feet...noooooooo way.

Yeah I hate when it hinders you getting into your car, around the roads where its barely enough to get one car through cause theres nowhere to push the snow...it really is a nuisance which is why I'm glad this winter we haven't had much of it.I agree, we haven't had much snow, but we are getting alot of storms with freezing rain,& sleet ice, as matter of fact we are expecting another one tonight & tomorrow.

I say bring it on!!! I'd love a really big snow storm...We had one a few years ago that dropped 38 inches of the white stuff and it was incredible...I'll take one of those a year!!! Of course I hate to hear of people getting hurt during storms but to be home while my little world is getting dumped on is one of my favorite pass times!!! Put on the Christmas music and watch the world turn white...

I guess overall they got about 4 1/2 ft.I also saw on the news that there is a shortage of salt there where your Aunt is also. Seeing those pictures really makes you think of Christmas. I would rather have that snow then all this ice & sleet that we keep getting.

We had 6 inches of the white stuff sometime last week and it's mostly all gone today. We heard that we might get some tonight and alot of wind. If it does snow like they say its suppose to then when I jump in the lake Saturday, it should be fairly nice.

Little by little we are getting rid of our snow here, since it's been raining & warmer. Not sure how long this will last before we get another round of snow again.:snowball:
