Good Old Fashioned Blizzard

It hit yesterday at about 3:00pm and was only supposed to give us a skiff of snow. But after blowing and howling all night it dump more than 2 feet in my yard and part of Salt Lake are paralyzed. Valentine's chocolate sales stopped at 4pm completely yesterday -- an unheard of phenomenon (which means we're going to get clobbered today after every digs out). Schools are closed, roads are impassable.

Man, we got spanked by this one.

A Wednesday before a long weekend when all the snow plows aren't working and you get stuck home for almost a week!!!!

If it has halted Utah, I can only imagine what would happen around here. It would be the blizzard of 93 all over again if not worse. We would be stuck for sure!
