The smell to be exact. You know the shiny, plastic kind that comes in lots of colors. The first thing I do in July (at Hobby Lobby) and in September (at Wal-Mart) is to go an find the garland and get a real big sniff.
I know it is weird, but does anybody else like the smell of that garland . . . or am I certifiable?

That is a new one to me, more of a fresh pine person myself. But you have me curious now, might have to take a whiff next time.

I can see it now this fall when I walk into walmart. I'm going to see a bunch of people standing around the garland just sniffing away. LOL!!!

The first step is admitting it...I don't know of any twelve step programs for garland sniffers but I'll look into it for you...Just know that this is where the healing begins...
Just kidding...I love the smell of the cardboard boxes that my parents store their ornaments in...Different strokes for different folks...

Okay, now you've got me wanting to go and pull out a piece of fake garland just to smell it. Of course, my fake garland has been in my storage bins for several months now so it probably just smells like dust. :-?

No it should still smell like garland. Mine smells the same every year. I agree with the other member... I love to walk by all the fresh cut trees...pure heaven.
