This has nothing to do with Christmas, per se, but my step-daughter, Megan Neuf, and her friends have just won one of this nation's most prestigious service awards and her mother and I are just bursting with pride and I just had to share...

Thanks, everyone! but, now my wife and I face the arduous task of keeping an 18 year old girl grounded and humble in the face of (seemingly endless) accolades! It's an ugly job, but SOMEONE has to get her to clean her room before she leaves for college in August... cheesy

Congrats, George! These moments of pride are NOT rare when you have such great kids --- but they are rare to be so public. Kudos to Megan and her friends!

Now, about the room thing? Good grief. How could you expect so much of a child?
