So today is the day after Christmas......

and I usually find myself a little sad and a whole lot tired, well not this year. Okay I'm still a whole lot tired but am tring not to feel so blue. I am concentrating on getting my kitchen back into its usual state and after 4 loads of dishes and pots and pans it still looks like a bomb went off. (and I'm really not much of a cook) I can see progress but I like it when I can clean as I go and for whatever reason that didn't happen yesterday, but we did have some really good food and even better drinks....

I was going to attempt to take down some of my window lights today so I can put up some plastic to try and keep some warmth in here but that's going to wait until tommrow.

And I will need to go out and get a bigger and better gift card for my garbage people as their job will be a whole lot harder this week. Our 2 huge cans are full plus there is a ton of cardbord and about 8 55gallon bags full that don't fit in the cans to go out. What was I thinking?????

Boy what a sea of wrapping tissue we had in here Christmas morning. It was about 3-4 feet deep.

I was very blessed this Christmas, all of my children were able to come home for the holiday (I needed this so much as this year I had to deal with an almost empty nest, my 2 daughters went off to college and they're 3 years apart and my oldest son joined the army all within about 3 weeks of each other) plus we were able to go to Texas to visit with my parents and my brother and my sister who live there and then come home on Christmas eve (with almost no problem on the plane) and go see our grandchildren and my stepchildren then on Christmas day my other brother and my other sister and their families came over to celebrate. It was a full house and a very fun evening but I am glad its done and actually quite excited about moving on and planning for next year.

Hope all enjoyed the Holidays
