Ray Conniff - Kind of a Music/DVD Search

Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a copy of The Ray Conniff Christmas Show on DVD? Its the one that spawned the YouTube videos where the singers are wearing technicolor sweaters.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!!!

I would like to have a copy playing at our family Christmas gathering this year.

Did you try Ebay or Amazon. com? I love the Ray Conniff singers. My Mom had on their CD every Christmas morning when I was growing up and she gave it to me last Christmas because now I live on my own with 2 Sons ( 3 and 1 years old ). It was one of the best gifts ever!

I know what you mean. It is definitely Classic music.

I did look on Amazon, but not Ebay. I'll check there as well.

Someone in Belgium can hook me up with this...

How sweat is that?!?!?

UPDATE: Not too sweet! I was assured the DVD didn't have regional locks on it, but apparently it does. I can't play it.

It's not so much a 'lock'... it's the PAL format of the video on the DVD.
NTSC is the standard video format used in the US whereas PAL is used in many European countries.
Some DVD players in the US can play PAL DVDs, but most can't... they weren't manufactured to.
If you have more than one DVD player in your home, try it on all of them... or try it on a friends or family members and you might find that it works. You can always view with your computer's DVD drive.
Like I said, I'll check tonight and see if the DVD-R that I have of the special is NTSC or PAL.

For more info, you can read about it here...

I've downloaded a utility that is supposed to remove any regional coding. I cannot play the DVD through my older laptop because it lacks some codecs I guess.

I am able to load the DVD into the utility and view it so that may be promising. I've got to get this thing burned to another DVD. It just looks CLASSIC! It definitely brings a smile to the viewer's face.
