This is why villages are such a bad habit to get into. I'm tempted to get these just so that I have a piece of Caninemom3 in my Christmas display. I couldn't have something like this and not think of her!

Village collecting looks like fun, but I just don't know where we could put it in our house.

We have a few pieces on the ledge over the stairwell going to our basement. It's just inside our front door. We stopped buying them because we don't really have a proper place for them either with my Precious Moments Nativity & my Possible Dreams Santa Collection taking up all the free shelf space.

I have a friend whose mother took up all the bookshelves in the living room for her village collection. It looked so neat all lit up.

I'm always looking for a new, stand-out piece. I've really been getting into the animated ones. Mr. Christmas is great for those, a lot of them are musical as well! :tree:

Something that mom and i have done for years. We have quite the collection. It looks so pretty at Christmas when we light them all up.

ballcoach, I'd love to see pics!

Thus far, I have 2 Christmas Village-ish houses and I absolutely adore them. I just shy away because I know I'd become an addict quickly! I would love to fill in my glass-paned hutch with them year-round (and have you seen the Department 56 Halloween villages?!? LOVE them!) ... Maybe in time! If I find a good deal, I will pick up houses here and there.

I only have like for Houses/buildings I only started collecting them a couple years ago. Me and my GF usually wait till after the season and try to get them when they are on clearance.

Christmas Villages are SO beautiful!! my mom used to have them when i was younger... but as the years have gone along she stopped. Perhaps I will start my own!
