Christmas Blossoms - 2011
We're Baaaack! Once again!
Yes, it's time to post our annual and highly anticipated Christmas Photo page!
Time again to search for Christmas Blossoms - visual signs that Christmas is coming and that we are entering and moving through Christmas Season 2011!
The purpose of this thread is to provide a place to post any Christmas Season related photos you, your friends, or family have taken this year.
(Please, no internet copy/paste!)
As per tradition, I launch this thread with photos of "A Christmas To Remember", our recurring annual Christmas store at Crabtree Valley Mall.
UNFORTUNATELY, IT IS NOT YET OPEN!!
Nevertheless, tradition must be observed.
The photo below shows where it WILL be any day now! Christmas merchandise can be seen around the edge of the brown paper window cover!
Enjoy (and please contribute to!) the photo collection in this thread, so we can really start getting into Christmas Season 2011!
I had to wait for some time for the aisle to clear of customers before I could snap this. It's quite crowded at Crabtree on Saturdays!
(I'll add an updated photo once it has opened.)
A close-up of the sign on the door, in proof:
EDIT: Added this photo of the now opened store!
For more of this fine Christmas shop, see my post of 10-8.
We need at least one truly Christmas-looking photo on day one.
Snapped this one today in Macys.
(They always have such nice stuff!)
(Sears and Belks have things out too.
Photos of them are pending!)
I am thrilled to see this thread!! And so ready to share some pictures I have taken!:???:
Posting in this thread even before I have read anything. So excited that it has made its debut for the 2011 season. Christmas is blossoming!! Hooray! Thanks, Crown!!
Crown, is this an entirely new location for A Christmas to Remember? Or, has it filled this space before in previous years?
Today while shopping at Costco they had a few Christmas items out. I fell in love with this sweet little bear. And had to take a picture to share with all of you.
Each year, they move into whatever space is vacant at the time.
(I shudder to think there might be a year when there happen to be no vacancies!)
Over the summer my family and I went camping at Wade Lake. One morning I buzzed into West Yellowstone to browse the shops. My daughter and I decided to go into a candy store. As I had mentioned in the countdown thread I was thrilled to purchase candy I hadn't seen since I was a kid but even more surprised when I went around the corner and the other half of the store had lots of beautiful Christmas decor.
