Here are some ribbon wreaths I've made for Halloween/Fall & Christmas. They are super easy and cheap to make. Great for kids!Attachment 1319Attachment 1320Attachment 1321Attachment 1322Attachment 1323

I have not made one of those since my kids were small!
Nice to see they are coming back again.

I haven't seen anyone make them since the 70's! That's kind of cool to see that kind of stuff out there (nice job) and also exciting to make with your little ones or grandkids, etc.....

Oh love them!!!! Are they just foam underneath?

Lacim84 07-29-2012 06:50 AM

Yes, it's just a foam wreath with ribbon wrapped around it. I saw it on Better Homes & Garden.com and thought it would be a good project for my son and some of the kids I babysit. I'm thinking of doing a large one for my living room and tack my Christmas cards all around it. Of course it wouldn't be as whimsical as the ones I posted though.

hey there.....that is awesome stuff....maybe you could write a description on how to make them....I might try to do that with Kandice!!!!

It's very simple. Take a foam wreath, any size you want, neatly wrap it in ribbon (do not use wire ribbon & make sure it's long enough) and secure the ends with fabric glue. I decorated these with scrapbook stickers that you can buy anywhere. Or you can hot glue your desired objects. Then to finish it off, you can tie a bow around it or add flowers, berries, etc. You can be creative and do whatever you like!
