Snow what I mean?
Are any of you still enjoying winter? (Jeff?) We have a firm grasp on spring here in Nashville so, apart from that one house I pass each day that still has it's Christmas lights up, this website will have to provide my Christmas fix for the next 8 months. My parents have had snow in the last couple days, but they live just off Lake Erie so they get it until late April each year.

Here in San Francisco Bay we've had more rain and snow than the usual winter. And only on the last month! Hope it's gone soon.

 we are just starting to get cooler especially in themornings, so it means our fires will be coming on in late April early May, when you guys are heating up, at least I can look forward to christmas in July, so I"m trying to get the best out of the last of the warmth here until spring which starts in september, but it doesn't start to really warm up till October. :-)

We have been going through that psycho time of year where it is amazingly spring-like one day and blizzard-like the next. It has everyone going through the cold medication like crazy!

I have to admit that I'm ready for something consistent.

As for my Christmas fix, I'm neck-deep in Christmas projects -- some new tweaks for this site, MMC and a couple of new adventures to launch in the coming months. I'm doing Christmas now year round!

We are in that stage, too. Last week it felt like summer! This week it has been bitterly cold. Next week we will be warming up to the 60s! I am so ready for Spring. I am not looking forward to Summer, though. I can't stand the heat and humidity! Once July hits, I'll be begging for Autumn.

I guess this is why retired people move around to find the weather that suits them best. Although I was raised in northwest Pennsylvania, which has snow in late April and early May some years, I have lived in the south for enough years that I even tire of winters in Nashville. I don't mind the coldness as long as we have something to show for it.

Well, I do know this. While I'm tired of winter right now I will more quickly tire of summer. By mid-May I'll be aching for fall. The heat, at least here in the west , can be so taxing.

I'd love to think it could snow here for Christmas in SW Florida, but it only happens in my dreams. :-)

You know, Twinkle, it could happen. The coldest Christmas Day ever in Tampa (I'm guessing that is close enough to count) was in 1983 when it got down to 20. The day after Christmas that year it was 19. However, the very next year they set a record high for Christmas Day with 84, so you just can't tell. Where were you in 1983?
