I agree...the air is starting to have a "feel" about it!
I'm starting to get that fall'ish "homey" feeling - want to stay home & bake/burn candles, etc! I ordered my 1st Christmas gifts today - 2009 Christmas ornaments from Bronners for my Godchildren & one of the Fontanini Wise Men for another Godchilds birthday coming up. (I am giving her the entire fontanini nativity scene 1 piece at a time on her birthdays. This is her 1st b-day, but I gave her Mary, Joseph & Baby Jesus for Christmas last year... I went to Ben Franklin yesterday & they are putting out some of their Christmas stuff. They had a few trees up, some snowmen, santa's, plaques with sayings, etc. Very cool!!!
Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace & goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.
