Hey Dominick...it might have just been your chaser lights that you spoke of that were not end to end lights. I checked those icicle lights right away (first thing actually) and they were end to end lights.
I had a set of chaser lights a long time ago and they weren't end to end either, so it must be something about the chasing function that makes them a stand alone strand.
My husband is very worried about me falling off the roof. He nevers gets up there because he gets vertigo, and I just started off doing it, so we've just continued this way. He's very supportive in that he will stand out there with me and hand me stuff and hold the ladder, but he doesn't want to be the one on the roof at all. This year we have a new house with some really high parts to the roof and I am determined to get lights up there. I'm just not able to figure out a way to do it. I need to buy a 24' ladder plus that 11' pole that puts the lights and clips up there. But even still...I'm not sure I am going to make it.
I told him I could just get out on the roof but it's really really steep, so he's worried.
I'll start a new thread about it so you guys can help with suggestions.
