With Christmas Eve just a week away many kids are concerned about letting Santa know about things. Some kids change their wishlists at the last minute or just want to tell Santa something very important. Many kids are afraid that with all the problems Santa is having this week that maybe he won't get their messages.
Well, relax. We're all still on the job.
Here is what you do if you are concerned: first of all, the best way to let Santa know something is to write it down on a piece of paper and simply stick it in your stocking. I'll bet you never knew that, did you? Yes, until Christmas morning when Santa puts little gifts in your stocking it serves as kind of a mailbox -- a conduit straight to Santa who gets these notes from you. They are checked every night after you go to bed by special elves from Elf Hugo's team in the mailroom and they take what you write straight to Santa.
In fact, this is one reason why Santa asks kids everywhere to draw pictures for him, even if they don't need to talk to Santa. Why? Because Santa takes those pictures and he gives them to the elderly and the sick who cannot leave hospitals or their beds at this time of year. The pictures really cheer them up. (Santa is NOT a good artist so he asks for lots of help from you). So won't you do something nice and draw a picture to give to Santa? Your art can help make someone feel better!
