Be glad you are nto drinking 30 to 50 like that girl on Freaky Eaters. I quit drinking soda aka pop over 3 weeks ago and I have already lost 30 pounds BUT that is also with some portion and food changes and exercise. Many people today say they do not have time to exercise which for SOME that may be true BUT instead fo taking the escalator at the mall or the elevator at work, take the stairs. If your job is within walking distance then walk do not drive. Simple changes can make a world of difference. I am doing it and I am currntly helping take care of my mother in law after her surgery, taking care of the hubby, home matters, looking for work, and many other thing. I always manage to get roughly half hour to 45 minutes of good exercise in a day. This will also hold true for the holidays.
Basic tips there.
Don't snack so much (hard I know). Use portion sizes and if the need to snack arises make sure it is in small amounts well spaced out. A good walk after eating also helps.
