Gooey Chocolate Cobbler

Gooey Chocolate Cobbler

2 sticks butter or margarine
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 cup self rising flour
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

1 cup sugar
6 tbsp cocoa powder
2 cups boiling water

1. In a 9x13 glass baking dish melt butter in oven.
2. In medium bowl, mix 1 1/4 cups sugar, flour, vanilla and milk. Pour over melted butter. Do not mix.
3. In medium bowl mix 1 cup sugar and cocoa powder. Pour this in next but do not mix.
4. Pour boiling water on top. Do not mix.
5. Bake 30-45 mins at 350 degrees until crust is medium brown.
