What is Santa up to in March?
Santa has now approved all of the new toy designs and the workshop has started to produce all of the small piece's for them. These will then go into storage until later in the year when the toys will be completely assembled. They have also moved on to the drum sets and hula hoops now. At the current pace they should wrap up their quota for these by in just a couple of weeks. The wrapping department is currently working on a new storage system. They had some problems last year when they couldn't reach some of the toys to stock Santa's bag. The toys where piled other toys and it took the elves precious time to move everything out of the way. This year they hope to expand their shelving and that should allow them to better organize all of the gifts. Over in the stables the reindeer are back to 2 a day workouts with at least half of each session devoted to flying. The sleigh department is currently cleaning all of the sleighs that were used last Christmas and addressing any issues they find with them. They are also hard at work on Santa's new sleigh for this year. The Kitchen staff is still working on their gingerbread Christmas tree. They have about 25 percent of the lower branches made and they have realized that they are heavier than they thought they would be. So they are now re engineering the support structure. The exterior of the new building is done and workers are now working on the interior. Santa still will not tell us what it is for and the only people allowed in there are the workers. They have also been sworn to secrecy and won't tell anyone what is going on. Santa and Mrs. Claus have been traveling alot. They have a lot of suppliers to meet with and they are also taking a small vacation in a mountain town.
