I used to decorate much - much more than I have the last two years. This year won't be any different. O'Malley the cat has put a damper on my decorations. Not sure how he manages to stay on Santa's Nice List.
I know that my outside decorations are minimal compared to many of the members here.
I didn't care for my Christmas tree last year. I'll have to think of something different this year. I had to set it up in our Master Bedroom to keep the cat away and there wasn't enough room for the whole tree so I had to use the middle and the top so I could decorate around the bottom.
I've been keeping my eyes open for a half-wall tree, but I want one that looks good. I find with artificial trees, they often have too many branches. The real trees we used to fetch in the bush and set up were not "uniformed trees" so the decorations looked much better with more spaces between branches.
