No surgery, no casts, just splints. The Orthopedic said they were boring breaks, but breaks none the less. The first week off was ok, started P.T., the second week off, finally got some movement and almost full extension on the right arm. Radial head in the elbow is being the problem. So, turning my hands hurts a bunch and they seem to cramp a lot. I go back to the Orthopedic on the 21st and I'm hoping I can go back to work. This not driving and staying home sucks. I've had a good attitude about this and my co-workers got together and brought me dinner for the last week and a half. I am so humbled by their kindness and generosity. I am lucky to have them and you guys in my life. Healing is going slow and it will take approximately 6 - 8 weeks for a complete recovery. But I smile and laugh and at least I'm alive. 2014 is going to be a good year (as long as this Bumble learns to bounce).
