Nope, refuse to see this one. I have a peculiar affliction that causes me to bawl my eyes out at robots being abandoned. The first Star Trek movie where they are trying to destroy this huge mass approaching Earth?? I cried because it was Voyager and it was coming home with all the information it was sent to get and bring it to its programmer, except that the programmer had died so many years before and they were trying to kill it when all it wanted to do was come home.
Second film - Silent Running. Bruce Dern in space, kills fellow astronauts and is left with 3 little robots rechristened Huey Dewy and Louey. One gets mangled by an asteroid, the other gets hit by a quadbike type thing and isn't the same again and eventually Bruce Dern blows himself and the faulty robot up, leaving the last little robot to look after the rest of the ship all alone. I had hiccups I howled so much......even now, when I see it's on TV, I run a mile
I'm sure you'll all enjoy it but I'll give this one a body swerve, thanks. Bring on the panda!!!!!!!!!!!!
