Music Scripture doesn't say it be we know those angels were singing at the manger. And music has been the heart of Christmas ever since.

christmas song

Hello to all, I am hoping you can help me find a song. In the mid seventies READERS DIGEST came out with a CHRISTMAS collection on 8track called AN OLD FASHION CHRISTMAS (I believe). One of the songs was called RAGS and it was performed by MARTY GOULD and a childrens choir. Any help in finding this song would be great.

Thank you

“Rags” by The Marty Gold Children's Chorus was also on a 1973 RCA lp entitled “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” And Other Children’s Christmas Songs and might still be available for download at http://waycoolmusic.blogspot.com/200...1_archive.html

This record was also released on CD and may be purchased used. http://www.amazon.com/gp/pdp/profile/A3DAUALUMJPIYD

As far as Readers Digest lps, etc in general, the used market is full to overflowing.. Tracking down certain issues is kind of tough as RD often repackaged tunes in various forms.

Thanks! I think you got that exactly backwards, SparkleNana! You must not have known any of my school teachers; nor my Mom. You have me cornfused with Jay!

As for "powers", I was once an understudy to a Native American Medicine Man/Shaman back during the late thirties. I still consult the Runestone and toss the bones to shake loose mindless dribble.

Dribble? Drivel? Still sounds right!
