Hallmark Movie Channel's Christmas in July

Thanks to williamcraig11 for notice of the Hallmark Movie Channel's "Christmas in July" schedule. These will be integrated into the "This week on Christmas TV" schedule as they come up.

A BOYFRIEND FOR CHRISTMAS (2004)
When a young girl reveals to Santa that she wants a boyfriend for Christmas, she never expects it to come true 19 years later! Holly (Kelli Williams, “Lie to Me”) is now in her 30's, she has a successful career and the wish she made as a 13-year-old girl couldn't be further from her mind. But to her amazement, it's granted and Holly is greeted on Christmas morning by a boyfriend carrying a Christmas tree. As Holly begins to unravel her “boyfriends” secrets, time is running out and she may lose her chance at true love. Also stars Patrick Muldoon (“Starship Troopers”), Martin Mull (“Mrs. Doubtfire”) and Charles Durning (“O Brother, Where Art Thou?”). “A Boyfriend for Christmas” makes its Hallmark Movie Channel debut Friday, July 3 (10 p.m. – 12 a.m.).

EBBIE (1995)
In this updated retelling of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," ruthless business woman and shopping store owner Elizabeth “Ebbie” Scrooge (Susan Lucci, “Dancing with the Stars”) is taught the true spirit of Christmas by three Spirits who visit her. “Ebbie” makes its Hallmark Movie Channel debut Saturday, July 4 (4 – 6 p.m.).

THE CHRISTMAS CHOIR
Workaholic Peter Andrews has thoughtlessly shut everyone out of his life until he meets Bob, a homeless man who helps him rediscover the healing power of music. Stars Jason Gedrick (“Backdraft”) and Rhea Perlman (“Matilda”). “The Christmas Choir” makes its Hallmark Movie Channel debut Friday, July 10 (8 –10 p.m.).

ANGEL IN THE FAMILY (2004)
Sisters separated by a lifetime of misunderstanding and their family desperately in need of healing old wounds, find themselves brought back together on one amazing Christmas in which the impossible happens -- and makes us all believe that nothing is impossible. Stars Meredith Baxter (“Family Ties”), Ronny Cox (“Total Recall”) and Natasha Gregson Wagner (“High Fidelity”). “Angel in the Family” makes its Hallmark Movie Channel debut Friday, July 10 (10 p.m. – 12 a.m.).

THE CHRISTMAS CARD (2006)
Moved by an anonymous Christmas card, lonely career militarist Captain Cody Cullen (John Newton “Alive”) travels to the small California town of Nevada City to meet the card's sender, Faith Spelman (Alice Evans, “102 Dalmatians”). Once there he finds himself welcomed into Faith's family and falling in love with her—despite the fact that she has a fiancé and that Cody has yet to reveal the fateful set of circumstances that brought him to her letter. Also stars Ed Asner (“Elf”). “The Christmas Card” makes its Hallmark Movie Channel debut Friday, July 17 (8 – 10 p.m.).

A CHRISTMAS VISITOR (2002)
When the Boyajian family received the news on Christmas that their only son was killed in the Gulf War, the spirit of Christmas seemed a distant memory. But this Christmas, an unexpected visitor enters the lives of these two grieving parents to help reconcile old wounds and to re-ignite the joys of Christmas. Stars Meredith Baxter (“Family Ties”), William Devane (“Space Cowboys”) and Dean McDermott (“OpenRange”). “A Christmas Visitor” makes its Hallmark Movie Channel debut Friday, July 17 (10 p.m. – 12 a.m.).

SILENT NIGHT (2002)
In 1944, as American soldiers are making their way through Europe, a platoon finds themselves lost behind enemy lines. On Christmas Eve, with little hope remaining in their hearts, they discover a refuge, a small cabin inhabited by a German woman, Elisabeth (Linda Hamilton “The Terminator”), and her young son. When instructed to leave their weapons outside, the soldiers reluctantly agree and the woman begins to help nurse the injured. Ironically, German soldiers also find the cabin and are instructed to leave their weapons outside as well. With the help of the German woman, the two adversaries put their differences aside, as the spirit of Christmas brings them together in a way never thought possible. “Silent Night” is based on a true story and makes its Hallmark Movie Channel debut Saturday, July 18 (4 – 6 p.m.).

ANNE TYLER’S SAINT MAYBE (1998)
An all-American family appears to be perfect, until the oldest son, Danny (Jeffrey Nordling, “Home of the Brave”), turns the family’s peaceful world upside down by announcing his plans to marry Lucy (Mary-Louise Parker “Weeds”). Lucy charms the family except for Danny's brother, Ian, who doesn't trust her. When he voices his suspicions, he sets in motion an unsettling chain of events that transforms their lives. Also stars Blythe Danner (“The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2”) and Edward Herrmann (“Richie Rich”). “Anne Tyler’s Saint Maybe” makes its Hallmark Movie Channel debut Saturday, July 18 (10 p.m. – 12 a.m.).

NAUGHTY OR NICE (2004)
George Lopez (“The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl”) stars as an antagonistic sports-radio “shock jock” named Henry Ramiro. Although his show is number one in the ratings, Henry has alienated everyone around him with his relentless verbal assaults, including his wife and teenage daughter. During his show Henry gets a call from Grant, a 15-year-old listener whose life-threatening illness hasn’t dampened his zest for living. Grant challenges Henry to be a nice guy for one whole day. Not surprisingly, Henry’s ratings tank, but he manages to learn a valuable lesson just in time for Christmas. “Naughty or Nice” makes its Hallmark Movie Channel debut Saturday, July 25 (4 – 6 p.m.).
