I did not like the Beatles when they first arrived on the scene, I was in Jr. High.

As they got older their music got better. They produced some nice songs in the later years.

DIE HARD BEATLES FAN HERE!!! My mousepad I use has the Abbey Road picture on it. I also have a Beatles shirt with Abbey Road on it that my brother gave me. I love just about every song they ever made. I saw Paul McCartney in concert last month and he put on an awesome show! I was 3 years old when they broke up so I missed all the hype when they came to America, lol. I became a Beatles fan when I was 15 years old and now my grand kids like some of their music.

Happy Anniversary to them on Abbey Road Album!

I have to agree with you. Their later stuff is definately better. Abby Road is one of their better ones. You got to give them credit, they revolutionized rock music.

I absolutely ADORE the Beatles!!! Even though I was born 10 years after they broke up, my parents made sure they raised me on them (and various other 60's/70's bands), and I have become about as die-hard a fan as you can be! My boyfriend and I recently bought Rock Band: The Beatles and it is very VERY fun!

Anyway, enough rambling...Happy 40th anniversary, Abbey Road!

Also, I agree with whoever said the later Beatles music was better than the earlier stuff. They did have some good early stuff (A Hard Day's Night, Help, various other songs from those albums), but I'm especially partial to Rubber Soul and after. Especially the White Album. I <3 that album sooooooooo much!
