Tips for Buying a Fresh Tree

I use to devote one cloudy cold December day to baking each year. I would make homemade fudge, caramel, snowball cookies, chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal cookies and cream cheese mints. It would take me from early morning until early evening to make everything since I tripled and quadrupled my recipes. I would pass it out to all of our maintenance men at the apartments we use to manage. Then made up trays of goodies for my family and friends.
I have not done that much baking in over 7 years and miss it. I now just bake up a few trays of cookies and decorate them. I would like to get back to all day baking again and may do that this year. I loved doing that!
I usually make alot of cookies. I make peanut butter, snickerdoodles, peanut butter blossoms, sugar, chocolate chip, white chocolate chip with cranberries, butterscotch chip, thumbprints, and a few more that I change from year to year. I also make fudge, buckeyes, meltaways, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate bark, hard candy, peppermint patties, truffles, molded chocolates, peanut butter cups, and this year I want to make some creme filled chocolates.
Thank you holiday, and Minta for sharing those recipes.
MsChristmas, sounds like a fun party to look forward to. I wish I had relatives, and friends who would like to do such a thing.
Sunshine73, would you mind sharing your mint chocolate chip cookie recipe . I like mint chocolate ice cream, is the cookie similar?
ReineV, I know what you mean. I will bake the basics, and such, but when it comes to something like cheesecake, I only make the mini cheesecakes, and that is using Nilla Wafers. Have you tried making the Rachael Ray fudge...the recipe is posted online, and it is very easy.
