Christmas Tree Christmas Decorations in Store Schedule!

Elfbot beat me to the USA Today story on Christmas today, but I picked up the paper around 6:45AM and on the front page center bottom a headline blaring "Stores Already Decking the Halls" FRONT PAGE! I couldn't wait until break time to read it.
Make a long story short they gave a breakdown of when stores will have their Christmas decoration sections up and running.

Costco-started Sept. 1

Home Depot- Sept. 19

Kmart & Sears- Sept. 25

Walmart & JCPenney- before the end of the month

Lowe's- Oct. 1

Nordstrom's-after Thanksgiving (they celebrate one holiday at a time)

I can't wait to see the selection this year, I may have to run to Kmart on Sept. 25 to immerse myself in Christmas cheer.

They were talking about this on the radio this morning, & had people call in if they were going to take advantage of the displays this month/what they are looking for. The radio personality wrapped up the phone call with a listener who called in by wishing them, "Merry Christmas!" It was hilarious and terrific in one shot.

Went to my local Big Lots and they already had a few rows of christmas stuff up. So if you have one it might be good to go check it out.

Do you REALLY think that Nordstrom's is going to wait until after Thanksgiving to put out Christmas decorations? REALLY?
