candle 12 weeks today....

Is Christmas Eve!!!! Woooww!! Where has the time gone?? Happy 1st of October people...I went into town today and as we are experiencing a heatwave here in the UK I was looking at the Christmas stuff thinking, ''this isn't right.'' Warm weather and Christmas just don't cut it for me. Im looking forward to the colder nights....which should hopefully begin next week.

I know! It is coming upon on us quite quickly! Love October 1st, and today it really kicked me into getting some things done around the house.

12 weeks sounds like a long time actually. But the way time has flown this year it will be here before you know it! For me the fun is actually getting there,it seems Christmas Eve and day just fly by,so I like to enjoy each day from here until the 24th!

Im with you when it comes to warm weather and christmas,i was going to start buying decorations online this week but the hot weather we have been experiencing has put me off a little,i will wait until it starts cooling down, hopefully it wont be far off, that picture in my sig is of my son jayden i remember taking that at around 3.45pm and as you can see its already getting dark and it was around -10 outside,i cant wait for weather like that to come.

Oh yeah, 8 weeks until the tree goes up. It makes the season seem that little bit closer. The temperature here today is 20c. Not normal for October, so I hope this means we will get a colder winter and possible snow at the end of the month.

I don't know if there are any Australians on the forum, but I couldnt imagine a warm Christmas. I guess it's normal for them but not for us.

I very much doubt we will get snow this month it will probably get cold and im sure the aussies love the warm weather at christmas because thats all they know same as some parts of the usa and canada who always get snow, with us brits its different because we have the most messed up weather patterns in the world,6-7 years ago our winters were very mild with no snow in years and now in the last 3 years we've had alot of snow and record braking low temperatures so we have started to get used to the cold during christmas and i was reading somewhere that we are going to get very very harsh winters for the next 20 years!!.
