My Dog Sam
Dear Abby, I too was picked on when I was a child and I too turned to our dog Queenie. She always gave me love and she always listened. Bless you.
Congratulations Littlest Angel. That should get you in the Christmas Spirit. I stopped by the local garden center today. They always have a large Christmas department and it's about half set up. Lit trees on the floor, garlands and ornaments on the racks...let the season begin!
"Christmas stays if we don't forget its meaning"
I bought a new tree this year too! I am planning on doing a snowman/snowflake themed tree to go in my dinning room, But was not so sure about wich of my tree's to use. Then I seen this beautiful green tree with white flock on it and had to have it! LOL
scooterbugs25~That sounds like it is going to be so pretty.
I am going to buy a new nativity scene this year. Hubby and the kids accidentally broke pieces of it last year while I was shopping. I don't know what they were doing...didn't want to ask, but I will be reminding Hubby of it so I can get a very good set!
How fun! I'd love to have a new tree because mine is a bit on the "Charlie Brown" side (6' tall but kind of skimpy...DH didn't pay much for it because he was pretty skint when he bought it for me)...it's got some open spots and it takes some work to shape the branches and hang the lights and ornaments in a way that will cover the spaces, but we've got a small apartment and I don't want to buy another tree until we move into a house so I know what size to purchase.
Even then, my little tree will go on display somewhere in our house. I've got too much sentimental attachment to that tree to ever get rid of it.
