I agree! It's almost like I enjoy the Christmas season more now than when it is actually here b/c we are always so busy in December. Now I have time to look at magazines, cookbooks, websites, etc.

These are very very exciting times! I put out lots of fall and Halloween decorations - beginning Octobr 1st. I add more almost everyday until Halloween.

I was at a neighborhood gathering tonight. I got lots and lots of feedback about the decorations I put out his afternoon. People asking if I had done them. And saying how much they enjoy them. News flash: adults like holidays very much!!! Children love holidays!!! People DO NOT think decorations are tacky. People enjoy decorations. People enjoy being happy.

People like to be surprised by unexpected (or expected) decorations. People like holidays. People like to be happy. I like to be happy and I like to decorate with non-scary Halloween decorations. This is not rocket science. This is love, and fun. I hope you have fun! I hope you have so much fun that you feel content!

I agree that time is definitely flying. I was just saying at work today, "Wasn't it just July?" I am getting excited though as I am planning my thanksgiving menu!
