My mom makes a great cheese ball. I'm not sure exactly what all she puts in it but, I do know she uses celery and rolls it in chopped walnuts. Atleast I think it's walnuts. I love it and I don't even eat most of the ingredients, I'm very picky but, I like that recipe.

Hey everyone! this is my first post, i thought i would share a cheese ball recipe that I have been using especially near christmas.

Christmas Cheese ball
2 packages of cream cheese, i use one full fat and one reduced fat
1 jar of pimento olives, diced
2 green onions
2 tablespoons of melted butter
2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
crushed walnuts to role the ball in
sometimes i add a dash of cayenne pepper

dice olives, mix cream cheese with all ingredients except the walnuts in a bowl, role in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, role in walnuts before serving, can be made the night before, it actually tastes better if you make it the night before.

serve with plain and flavored crackers
Makes a lot of servings

Hope you enjoy!
