I have a niece who is also this age. I would suggest little trinkets from Claire's or icing. They have lots of little goodies to choose from...necklaces, earrings, rings, body glitter. Maybe a subscription to a magazine such as Discovery Girls, Bop, Tiger Beat.

I have nieces that are tweens and every year I did the same thing...bath and Body gift sets, or Barnes and Noble, Claire's giftcards. This year I really had to break out of the rut.

This year I found a different website that has the cutest soaps I have ever seen! DreamBarsoap.com Something unique that will really catch them off guard. I ordered a bunch and probably over did it but I got some for them and for a good friend at work. And since I love to bake, I couldn't help myself! So stinking cute that I know my nieces are going to love them. Maybe I will add a magazine and a fun lipgloss too.

I have nephews and I'm kind of stuck on them but the girls are covered. All I know is they are into electronics but with all the game systems, I'm confused.

My DD is 10 and I find it so easy to fill her stocking. Lip gloss, nail polish, jewelery, books, magazines, socks, perfume, key chains, magazines, etc. I have loaded up on Hannah Montana things for my dd. She loves to shop at Claire's and Ardene's. I have a gift card for Ardene's to put in her stocking. Every year we always put in a calendar and an ornament for the tree.
