Surprising Poor Review of TSO

...here in Salt Lake, of all places! I've not seen them in concert myself but I did talk to a friend last night who saw this show and he said it was "tacky bad".

Hmmmmmmmm.

I've not attended a TSO concert either ,but have heard that often cd's are far better than live concert's when it comes to some performer's.

Hmmm...I've never seen them live but know people who have and they always rave on what a great show it is. On the other hand, DH and I were going to get tickets this year and decided that it just didn't fit within our Christmas budget so this does help ease the sting of that a bit.

I'm a rock/metal guy from way back... you would think with my love for Christmas these guys would be at the top of my list. I've never seen them live but i have all the CDs, the dvd they released and a handful of audio and video bootlegs... but they just miss the mark for me... all I can listen to is Christmas canon Rock and their Jesu Joy Of man's Desire/Angels We Have Heard On High medley... the rest is just meh and like Jeff's friend said 'tacky bad'.
