We eat ours on Christmas day, but, my god, there's a ton of snacking and eating throughout the holiday, so the main meal itself isn't quite a big event. My sister Laura is known as the 'food pusher.'

marekkane is a new face around here!
If I remember I will open a post in the international section about Finnish Christmas and perhaps include some pictures as well. All the Christmas chocolate has invaded the stores well already, though we're lucky, the music doesn't start this early.

For the original topic, turkey isn't as big here as oven baked ham. There's also lots of glögi - which is a mulled spice wine mix.

We have Christmas dinner on Christmas day. Christmas Eve after church we always have little snacks to munch on.

We tend to have a big dinner on Christmas Eve when my dad's brother and his family come over to my grandma's house. We all eat over there while watching the game (football).
