star How do you Celebrate Jesus birthday?

On Christmas day--What special things do you do to celebrate Jesus birthday?

One year when I was younger I made a cake. Every year on Christmas Eve we read from the bible about his birth.

What other things are done?? I would like to do some more things if you have any good ideas?

We go to communion at church on Christmas Eve, the kids'll sing happy birthday to Jesus on Christmas morning (if we can distract them from presents!).

We've done the Christmas Cake as a Birthday one a few times and go to Church on Christmas Morning. We also had fireworks one year, that was great!

We do several things throughout the Christmas season not just on Christmas day. We have 3 books that we read during the Advent season (1 per year). We usually take part in putting together shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. This year we could only give stuff to put into a box due to finances. On Christmas day we read the Christmas story.

Unfortunately, we never go to Church to celebrate his birthday. Not that we don't want to..It's just it's hard to fit it all in during such a busy time while trying to juggle helping my grandma, getting my brother over to his girlfriends, etc. Usually though, we watch specials around Christmas or Christmas Eve that come on discussing his birth.

We never did anything special for it....by celebrating Christmas we did that....but we always (most of the time) go to church to hear the Christmas story.

I´ve started telling Kandice of Jesus and God...and that Christmas is the birthday of Jesus...so I will read her Jesus´ birthstory from her children ´s bible....I could do the regular bible too...but she wouldn´t understand it yet
