candle This may have been asked somewhere else, and I missed it, but...

Is everybody okay?
Anybody from OK?
We live in an area that tornadoes can hit at any time.
And I know OK was hit pretty hard yesterday.
Just know you're in my thoughts and prayers.

FaithMom6 -- I'm from Oklahoma, and we are fine where I am. I live sort of in the middle of where all the action took place Tuesday. I have cousins and friends in Lone Grove where the deaths occurred, and they are all OK, but they had friends who may not be and so they are involved in search/rescue efforts. I have other kin and friends in Oklahoma City area where the first round hit, and thankfully they are fine too. -- It's a bit early for the average tornadic weather, but I believe historically we've had them in every month of the year. It sure felt like that kind of weather Tuesday so I wasn't surprised when it did happen. -- Thanks for asking about folks here. I know all those who lost loved ones and properties are thankful for everyone's concerns.

star I wondered the same thing

so glad you started a thread on this. We saw the destruction on the news.
Happy to hear you are ok loksi. We live in sw Ontario and have had a few minor twisters over the years that have taken some roofs and a farm out, but nothing like what happened down there.
My prayers are with everyone.

We should also include on this thread anybody on the forum from Australia who are having a terrible time and lives lost with the bush fires which were apparently deliberately started

candle

Yes, I have a dear friend whose home was within 10 miles of that horrid fire! Her husband stayed up all night making sure the ashes from that fire didn't start a fire in their yard or on their roof!
