star found a 1970 Christmas edition magazine

found this at a thrift store. It is from Better Homes and Gardens
full of all kinds of craft ideas, pictures of metallic Christmas trees, even a small sales catalog from Foster House offering stocking stuffers for $.88 each. (musical jump rope, magic rocks, boys and girls grooming sets etc, etc)
How to make fancy candles using muffin liners and Dixie cups. How about a TV on a pole? Or a small incubator that comes with 6 quail eggs for only $4.98?
I am going to have fun going through this one!

The coolest thing about that is that the magazine seems to be way behind the times for 1970... those designs in the pictures look to be standard late 50's, early 60's art... I LOVE that era in art..!

It is 1970, so much of the 70's have not yet occured. I think alot of this is mostly the 60's too.
