What is your favourite type of xmas tree?

Im hoping to get a new tree this year, a 7ft Scnadanavian tree, not a real one of course. It will be my son's first Christmas so I thought a new tree was ion order, the bigger the better, lol.

Do you have a favourite kind of tree you buy every year or is there a specific kind of fake tree you like?

DH & I have only bought two artificial tree together. Our first was MIL's old tree and the cat took off part of the bottom row of branches one year! I don't remember who picked out the first tree, but the second tree was a blast to pick out! We started out at Wal-Mart in our town. There was only one we liked but it was pre-lit and we wanted to put on our own lights. We went to three towns: 2 Wal-Marts, Lowes, Target, K-Mart. We ended up buying the same tree at Wal-Mart 45 minutes from home, just not pre-lit!

I don't know the type of tree it is, I just know that I want my tree to be tall and full---I don't want to be able to see through the tree to the wall behind it!

I like to have a fake tree that looks like a real tree. Not too green but, not too blue-ish green in color either. I like a full tree as well. I have a 7 1/2 foot tree now and it's a pretty big tree for my space.

Growing up I was raised having a real tree. Put it in a bucket with rocks to stablize it and if needed pound a nail into the wall and tie it to the wall with string. Of course this tree never appeared in the house until Christmas Eve and always came down New Year's Day.
I prefer the fake trees and the green trees. At least 6 ft or more. I always warn people about the white trees. They are beautiful but my parents had one when they first came out and it turned brown. They bought one for each of my daughters and their trees discolored also.

LOL one year when my kids were small, we did buy a real tree and the kids hated it. So did I, what a mess.

I don't have an Xmas tree; I have a Christmas tree though .
(I know, I am being really fussy about that, but I really loath the term Xmas, just does not sound right)

Anyway....
A 7 1/2 foot 3 piece pine that is so real looking you have to touch it to know it is not real. We have to many allergies here to have a real tree.
I like the fake anyway because there is no mess to clean up and I always know I will have a great looking tree!
