I've already started putting my fall stuff up in the house! I usually wait until Sept. 1st to put it outside but, I try to sneak a few items out in Aug.

We were riding bikes on the bike path at the lake Sunday morning when we came to the park area, the entire path & the grass around it was covered in fallen, crunchy leaves & boy did they smell good!!!! I love the sound of the bicycle crunching over the leaves too! Lol!! I about wrecked my bike (not really...) riding all over the path last night to hit & crunch the leaves...my hubby just rolled his eyes! Hee hee!

We've had a strange summer. It's usually boiling hot in July and starts to clool down in August. This year it is the other way around. It has been scorching hot this month.

Anyway, all my seasons revolve around Christmas. As soon as Jan. 1 I start thinking about the months going by and Christmas coming again.

That's pretty sad eh? (yes I'm Canadian)

I love fall. It's my favorite season. The cooler weather, leaves changing, Halloween. I love it all. And sitting out at the campground by a fire.

Football games, leaf piles, apples, morning frosts,
harvest moon, pumpkins, back to school, Sears Wish Book,
early sunsets, Indian summer, wool sweaters, hot chocolate,
golden sugar maples, yellow aspens, red oaks, white clouds
in cerulean blue skies, the northern wind, starry nights,
mincemeat pie, a warm radiator, ad-thick magazines,
seeing your breath, hot coffee, scarves, hockey, Hallowe'en,
migrating flocks of geese, cranberries, pots of mums…
