Not much happens at the North Pole on Sundays as most elf families attend church and spend time together. Santa is very adamant that families are together one whole day each week. But this Sunday saw Santa call a rare meeting of Santa's Council at his home.
Santa's Council is a group of head elves from every department. It includes Elf Wally in the Wrapping Department, Elf Victor from Santa's Stables and Elf Bernard from the Workshop, amongst others. We usually meet through out the year but not very often during Christmas time.
I cannot tell you everything that we talked about at the meeting. But Santa is very concerned. Christmas 2005 is going well but there are some early worries. We will be doing some different things this year to make Christmas happen.
But please do not worry. Be good kids, eat your vegetables, help your Mom and be kind to each other and Santa promises a very Merry Christmas this year. I will keep you posted of the latest news at the North Pole.
